Soziale Arbeit in der Bewährungshilfe : eine Wirksamkeitsanalyse der Bewährungshilfe als Form der ambulanten Straffälligenhilfe
„Derzeit nehmen die Freiheitsstrafen ohne Bewährung nur noch einen Anteil von gut 5% an allen Sanktionen ein; der Anteil der Freiheitsstrafen mit Bewährung dagegen liegt mit 12% schon mehr als doppelt so hoch“ (Kawamura-Reindl, 2018, S. 443). Die Datenerhebung im Jahr 2013 zeigt einer Legalbewährung zur Folge, wurden 2013 ca. 36.000 erwachsene Straftäter*innen innerhalb einer Strafaussetzung zur Bewährung oder Strafrestaussetzung eine bewährungshelfende Person zur Aufsicht unterstellt (Hohmann-Fricke & Tetal 2021, S. 117). Die Soziale Arbeit spielt innerhalb der Bewährungshilfe eine zentrale Rolle, indem sie ein Hilfenetzwerk schafft, das darauf abzielt, straffällig gewordenen Menschen eine soziale Teilhabe zu ermöglichen und das Ziel eines verantwortungsvollen und straffreien Lebens zu erreichen. Die vorliegende Thesis konzentriert sich auf die valide Mess-barkeit der Wirksamkeit der Profession, welche sich auf eine erfolgreiche Resozialisierung in Form eines zukünftigen stabilen Lebens bezieht. Dabei wird auch die Notwendigkeit der Professionalität in der Sozialen Arbeit beleuchtet und die Herausforderungen diskutiert. Zudem werden sozialpädagogische Handlungsmethoden beleuchtet, um die Wirksamkeit der Sozialen Arbeit in der Bewährungshilfe zu validieren. Die Thesis basiert auf umfassender Literaturforschung und evaluierten Studien, um die Wirksamkeit der Sozialen Arbeit in der Bewährungshilfe zu untersuchen und ihren Einfluss auf die Resozialisierung straffälliger Individuen zu bewerten.

"Currently, custodial sentences without parole only account for a good 5% of all sanctions; the proportion of custodial sentences with parole, on the other hand, is already more than twice as high at 12%" (Kawamura-Reindl, 2018, p. 443). The data collection in 2013 shows that approximately 36,000 adult offenders were placed under the supervision of a probation officer within a suspended sentence in 2013 (Hohmann-Fricke & Tetal 2021, p. 117). Social work plays a central role within the probation service by creating a help network that aims to enable people who have committed a crime to participate socially and to achieve the goal of a responsible and crime free life. The thesis focuses on the valid measurability of the effectiveness of the profession, which relates to successful rehabilitation in the form of a future stable life. Furthermore, of professionalism in social work is highlighted and the challenges discussed. In addition, social pedagogical methods of action are examined in order to validate the effectiveness of social work in the probation service. The thesis is based on extensive literature research and evaluated studies to examine the effectiveness of social work in probation services and to assess its impact on the rehabilitation of delinquent individuals.
